About the role:
Start your professional career in our Audit Department which is based in our Limassol offices, with the option to commence a professional qualification (ACA or ACCA or other relevant professional degree) as a trainee.
The successful candidates shall be undertaking the following responsibilities:
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and execution of audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries.
- Perform audit procedures in accordance with International Standards on Auditing and the Firm’s Audit Methodology and prepare clear and concise audit documentation and working papers.
- Analyze financial statements and supporting documentation to identify potential audit issues or areas of risk.
- Communicate audit findings and recommendations to senior team members.
- Support the preparation of audit reports and financial statements in compliance with relevant regulations and IFRS Accounting Standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and efficient completion of audit assignments.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting and auditing standards, regulations, and industry developments.
- Engage with onboarding/ongoing Risk Management procedures of new/existing clients.
- Engage in Ad hoc assignments.
Job requirements
- University degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Law, Mathematics, Risk, Forensics or in a related field would be considered an advantage.
- Curious and innovative mindset easily adaptable to new challenges
- Ability to work both individually and part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Greek
- Prior accounting or auditing experience will be considered as an advantage
